MoveWell does not request or collect any personal information. No account, email address, or phone number is required to use the app.
To build your plan, the app asks a few questions during setup: your first name (optional), age range, goals, activity level, daily sitting hours, movement preference, focus areas, an estimate of your chair-stand and walking ability, balance confidence, preferred session length and frequency, and your height and weight.
This information, and your completed workout history, is stored only in your device's local storage. This data:

The app does not access your location, camera, contacts, or calendar.
Subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store. Your payment details are handled directly by Apple; we have no access to them.
We use RevenueCat to manage your subscription status and validate purchases. What RevenueCat receives is your purchase record (which product you bought and whether the subscription is active) and an anonymous user identifier generated by the app. Your name, email address, payment details, health data and onboarding answers are never sent. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.
MoveWell shows no ads, uses no advertising identifier (IDFA), does not track your behaviour, and includes no third-party analytics tool. The RevenueCat service described above is used only for subscription validation; it does not track what you do in the app.
Data read from Apple Health is only displayed back to you on screen. It is not stored, not analysed, not shared with third parties, and under no circumstances used for advertising or marketing.
The app is designed for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children — in fact, we collect no personal data from any user.
Because no user data is held on our servers, there is no risk of a server-side breach. Data on your device is protected by iOS's standard security mechanisms.
MoveWell is a fitness and wellness app. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for medical care or physiotherapy. If you are unsure whether exercise is right for you, please speak to a suitable health professional first.
